If you were following my stories, you know how long I’ve been looking for a proper kimono. I went through loads of websites searching for an authentic vintage garment of the finest quality. Turns out @shopkimono had me covered. Sadly my husband was away for a business trip so there was no one at home to take the photos of me. But today everything finally came together and I’m looking forward to showing you some of these amazing garments I picked up. Today I wanted to wear noble beige and sky blue. Lately matching these colours have my heart racing. On top of that, I adore the marvelous pattern done by hand.

Here is the second look with my kimono.I think the jeans look can be matched with practically everything. I like to mix unconventional, evening or elegant clothes with the casual ones. This Kimono from @shopkimono really bring the look together don’t you think?

With all my love for vintage, this is something new. Directly from Japan I’ve received an authentic kimono made of genuine silk by hand!!! It was sent to me by @shopkimono. The kimono is bought at the auction and I think this garment is not only a necessary part of a wardrobe of a subtle connoisseur, but also a great idea for an unconventional gift. I love smart garments with the little twist (in the meaning of something special?) in them. For example, the authentic kimono from the Japanese auction I picked up from @shopkimono website. Each of their garment is completely unique and from a different age.

Elements of Japanese national clothing storm the world podiums again. The Kimono is a traditional garment which reflects the beauty of the country of the rising sun and the aesthetics of the Japanese. The kimono is literally translated from Japanese as “the thing to wear”. It is a loose and floaty wrap decorated with beautiful patterns and paintings. My kimono from @shopkimono is more than 100 years old, but its condition is unbelievable! It’s difficult not to be submerged by its history when you realize that it is so old yet still so bright and vibrant, really keeping the spirit of the East in it. Fashionistas all around the world follow the trend of wearing kimono and matching it with different types of clothes.

Girls, here is the authentic Japanese kimono, the latest fashion trend! Lots of us wear it at home but brave fashionistas are taking them out for social events. The looks with it are great!)

It felt like a fairy tale and like something impossible… To buy a genuine vintage Japanese kimono. It doesn’t come cheap but it’s a real dream come true.

By accident I’ve met very thoughtful Svetlana who knows everything about this topic and got to know her online boutique @shopkimono. I was provided a choice of 3 different kimonos in a colour scheme I’ve always imagined myself in my fantasies.
